Decide on Different



Morning ladies,

I'm on a roll this week, huh? Ha. I promise these won't always be sappy, but I had to share this with you.

If I'm open-book honest here, which you know that's how I vibe, life is a little scary lately. We're all human here right? As in me too. My husband and I left our corporate cushion day jobs to continue our dreams of entrepreneurship with not one, but two businesses. So I have Southern Fuss and he is a pool builder (and I couldn't be more proud of him and his determination/hard work). Because it is that -- HARD -- starting two businesses at one time. It's definitely a little scary too. Some of you have been there and can relate. And some days, Satan wants to take over.....and I'm so grateful we're constantly reminded that fear and doubt do NOT come from the Lord.

*****Don't get me wrong - I'm not perfect y'all. Not even close. But I am a child a God, which is more than enough.

And I am encouraged. And as part of this girl gang, I want YOU to be encouraged as well. All I could hear in my heart this morning was, "you have to decide on different." I told my husband. Told my sister. Told my mom. And I'm sharing with you too. Deciding on different because decide is a verb. It's an action. You have to choose it with intention. It won't always come easy, like most things worth while. Sometimes, we will feel a certain way because we are human - discouraged, frustrated, scared, lonely, etc. We have to decide on different and control our mind. We have the ability and the gift to do that. That's how we WIN. And it's completely up to us. We have to remind ourselves to decide. Actions. I'm not saying live in la la land where we poop unicorns all day long. I'm saying WIN. Decide to be grateful because we have enough of _______ (insert whatever you're doubting right now). We have enough. We are enough. We have to live as if - as if the blessing has already come.

As if the days are already better.

As if the situation is already resolved.

Your loved one is already healed.

Your new business is already thriving.

Your boss is already changing his mind.

Your wallet is already full.

Your time is already abundant because you've managed it so well.

Your children are already well, equipped, able, smart, thriving.

You already received the promotion.

You've already settled the disagreement.

You've already seen the days in the path ahead and you already know it is AMAZING in the end. You just need to decide different while on the journey.

What do you need to decide on different about? ---> You've got this. We've got this.

Like I always say, this girl gang is kind, classy, confident. We shop together, and stick together. Let's rock this day. Let's decide on different.
